FermZill Uni tanks are conical fermenters used both for fermentation and for carbonating and serving finished beer. The new FermZilla is a revolution in home brewing allowing home brewers and small micro-breweries a level of control that meets everyone’s budget. With the FermZilla you have the many of the benefits of a much more expensive stainless conical fermenter but with the additional benefit of being able to see the fermentation process in action and also ferment at pressures up to 2.4bar. These units were designed for use with CO2.
The FermZilla All Rounder 30/60 is the perfect fermentation vessel that can be used for fermenting under pressure, carbonating and dispensing. It’s far more capable than the FermZilla Flat bottom but it’s less complicated and less expensive than the FermZilla Conical Unitank. So like the name says it’s the “All Rounder”.
FermZilla Flat Bottom This fermenter has not been pressure rated and it’s not designed to carbonate in. If you are looking for a pressure rated fermenter that you can carbonate in then we would recommend that you go for the “FermZilla All-Rounder” Or “FermZilla Uni Tank” models. For this reason, we have not supplied this tank with a PRV valve. With that said the actual tank body is able to hold approximately 2psi. (so almost no pressure at all)
